Cultural community mourns loss of Roderick Ward

Pan Trinbago Inc. T.C. joins the entertainment and cultural community in mourning the loss of Roderick Ward who died on Carnival Tuesday.

Ward was a well-known businessman cum owner of the former Mas Camp Pub aka Nu Nu Pub on Ariaptia Avenue, Woodbrook.

A driving force when it came to pushing local acts, Roderick lived and breathed for the art form: steelband and calypso.

He was a die-hard supporter of Renagades Steel Orchestra throughout its many incarnations and there wasn’t a National Panorama Semi Finals at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, without his presence in the “media box”.

Ward will be sadly missed.

Heartfelt sympathy go out to his immediate family and that of his extended cultural family.

May he rest in peace.
