Tobago Single Pan Qualifying Round

Tobago Single Pan Bands will start the National Panorama 2017 and their category on Thursday 19 January at their respective pan yards.

Three (3) steelbands will run through their Panorama selections before the panel of adjudicators.

The first band will be Pembroke based Metro Stars. They will play the Austin Lyons’ composition “Fete” arranged by Ken “Professor” Philmore. The band is led by Steve Jack.

Next in line is Hope Pan Groovers of Hope Village with another Austin Lyons’ composition “Spankin” arranged by Ojay Richards. 

Natural Mystic is the final band in this category.  They hail from Hope Village. In 2017, the band has opted for the Steve Sealey’s “Break Away” arranged by Rickie Williams.

The action continues in Trinidad on Friday January 20 with the steelbands in the South/Central Region 

A total of sixty seven (67) Single Pan Bands will go through their respective paces over a period of next few days.  They too will be judged at their respective panyards/theatres.
