Pan Passion: Annual Church Service & Blessing of the Flags

As part of  August Fest 2026 – Steelpan Month, Pan Passion: The Annual Church Service and Blessing of the Flags is a cherished Pan Trinbago tradition held at  Pan Trinbago Headquarters, 55 Dundonald Street, Port of Spain.

This annual service brings together Steelbands, musicians, and supporters in worship, thanksgiving, and unity as we honour the pioneers of the Steelpan movement and seek blessings for the year ahead. A highlight of the ceremony is the Blessing of the Flag*, where the banners of participating Steelbands are blessed as symbols of pride, identity, and cultural heritage.

Pan Passion celebrates the enduring spirit of Steelpan and the values of faith, discipline, culture, and community that continue to unite the movement.
